Holy God, you have taken my mustard seeds of faith and transformed them into a lasting treasure! When I first trusted you, I made a declaration to love you and to follow you as my King. You accepted my pledge and made me one of your children, a special son whom you cherish and bless. I do not deserve the kindness you have shown me; however, I am who I am because of you, and I thank you.

Help me to never forget the vows I have made to you. Draw me near with kindness when possible, Lord, but should I stray from you, please use whatever it takes to get my attention. Keep me ever mindful of the inheritance you have given me. Lift my gaze to things eternal, that I might escape the snares of this world. Mark me out as a stranger in this land, a dissident of my generation, a sheep who hears your voice above the distractions. I love you, Father.
