Gracious Lord, you did not intend for us to walk through this world on our own. The Christian life was never meant to be a solo trek through the wilderness. Instead, the journey of faith is supposed to be an adventure with friends. The church is a fellowship—young and old, men and women, rich and poor—and we have all been charged with supporting one another. Thank you for giving me a spiritual family, Lord. Help me to bless my brothers and sisters, for they have been a blessing to me.

Father, I know very well that I am influenced by those I choose to spend time with, even though I don’t always realize it in the moment. Therefore, help me to find godly friends who will encourage me, hold me accountable, and challenge me in my walk with you. I need godly men who strive toward holiness, who do not compromise with this world, and who seek your face each day. And Lord, help me to be such a man.

Take a moment to evaluate the friendships and influences in your life. Ask the Lord for a group of godly men to encourage you and mentor you in his ways. Look for ways to bless other men and women.
