God Wants You to Prosper

DAY 1 OF 12

Don't Argue It, Receive It (1)

I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health—that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul! 3 John 1:2 MSG

Okay, let’s start by clearing the air: Prosperity is not a sin. Shocking, right? Some of us have heard so many “poverty is piety” sermons that we now feel guilty for having an extra meat in our stew. But take a deep breath. God is not allergic to your success. In fact, He’s totally into it. 3 John 1:2 literally says God wants you to prosper and be in good health just as your soul prospers. That’s a three-in-one combo; spirit, body, and yes… wallet!

Prosperity is not just about money. It’s about wholeness: peace in your mind, health in your body, increase in your finances, and fruitfulness in your life. When God talks about prosperity, He means your soul is smiling, your body is healthy, your pocket is not always crying, and your life is making kingdom impact.. God didn’t call you to a life of managing crumbs. If He could feed thousands with five loaves and two fish, trust me, He’s not short on resources.

Religion sometimes paints prosperity as something carnal. Look at Abraham, God blessed him real good. Cattle, gold, servants, his household looked like a mini estate. And guess what? God was still cool with that! He didn’t say, “Abraham, now that you’re rich, go and kneel down in sackcloth.” No! He was the One who blessed him in the first place. And you, dear friend, are Abraham’s child by faith. So why are you dodging the inheritance?

Prosperity is not about flexing; it’s about functioning. You can’t help the poor if you are the poor. You can’t build schools or sponsor missions if your bank account is coughing. So please, for heaven’s sake (literally), stop arguing with God about whether you’re allowed to prosper. Just smile, say “thank you,” and walk in it with purpose and gratitude.

Prayer and Confession
I am blessed and highly favored. God wants me to prosper, and I receive it boldly. I have more than enough; spiritually, emotionally, financially, and I’m a blessing to others. I will not apologize for walking in God’s goodness. I am walking in overflow!
