The Word of God, The Foundation of Revival

Revival is not based on emotions, but on truth. And that truth is found in the Word of God. Every genuine revival has been marked by a radical return to Scripture. It is the Bible that exposes our hearts, convicts us of sin, strengthens us in faith, and equips us for service.

During the Reformation, Martin Luther gave the living Word back to the people, and entire nations were transformed. John Wesley preached outdoors with a Bible in his hand, and entire crowds were touched by the power of the Gospel. Scripture is not an ancient book; it is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).

On my path to consecration, I am discovering how much more precious the Word becomes. When the body is weakened, the Bible becomes nourishment. Jesus Himself declared, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4 NKJV). Every verse is a seed of eternal life.

Smith Wigglesworth affirmed, “The Bible is God's book, supernatural in every word. Those who study it with faith will discover the power of God.” This conviction is still valid today.

Revival comes when God's people rediscover the power of His Word. More than ever, we must build our lives on this solid foundation.

Declaration of Faith:
I choose to base my life on the Word of God. I believe that it is alive and powerful. I proclaim that Scripture will bring about a revival in my heart and in my generation.

Prayer:
Lord, open my eyes to see the wonders of Your Law. Give me a renewed passion for Your Word. May it shape me, inspire me, and equip me. Make me a bearer of truth who impacts my generation.
