30 Day Battle-Ready Challenge - Leadership for Christian MenSample

Day 8: Choose the Hard Right
Reflection: What’s worse—doing something you know is wrong or ignoring something God has clearly called you to do? Most men would say committing a bad act is the bigger offense. I disagree—they’re equal in God’s eyes, and we need to stop treating them differently.
This is where weak-minded men retreat because inaction feels safe. Passing the responsibility to someone else, or pretending we didn’t hear God’s call, does not advance the Kingdom. The truth is, failing to act on God’s direction is passivity—and passivity is a dangerous mindset. When men choose passivity, evil gains ground.
If I’m honest, every time I ignore God’s prompting, fear is at the root—fear of failure, fear of looking foolish, fear that maybe I heard Him wrong. That fear traps us in a cycle of doubt.
But a battle-ready warrior knows this truth: when the Holy Spirit calls you to act, the only acceptable next move is immediate obedience. Delayed obedience is disobedience. The mission is clear: say yes and move forward.
God will show you what to do—just ask. The real question is this: Are you willing to say yes, no matter what He asks?
Mission: Spend time in prayer today and ask God for your next marching order. Be specific. Listen intently.
Field Order: Once you know what He’s asking, act immediately. No hesitation. Obey boldly.
