Simple Prayer: How to Pray Like JesusSample

We Need You
The Kingdom is an Everlasting Kingdom
Read: Psalm 145:1–7, 13
"Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations." (Psalm 145:13 NIV)
Devotional Thought:
Every human kingdom, government, and power will one day fade away, but God's kingdom lasts forever. Psalm 145 reminds us that His rule extends through every generation—unchanging and eternal. This means that no matter what uncertainties we face, God's purposes will stand. His kingdom is not limited by borders, history, or human failures. When we pray, “Your kingdom come,” we are expressing our confidence that His rule will triumph and that one day, all things will be made right under His reign.
Reflection Activity – Intercession:
Write down one area of uncertainty in your life or in the world (e.g., political instability, family concerns, future decisions). Then intercede by praying God’s everlasting reign over that situation, declaring: “Your kingdom is everlasting.”
Prayer:
King Jesus, I place my hope in your everlasting kingdom. No matter what changes around me, I trust that your reign will never end. Let my life reflect your unshakable rule. In Jesus’ name, amen.
