Simple Prayer: How to Pray Like JesusSample

I Need Help
The Lord is My Shepherd
Read: Psalm 23
"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing." (Psalm 23:1 NIV)
Devotional Thought:
Psalm 23 gives us a comforting image of God as our Shepherd—one who guides, protects, and provides. When we pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” we express dependence on Him, trusting that He knows and meets our needs. More than physical food, God nourishes our souls and leads us to peace and restoration.
Prayer Practice – Start a Prayer Journal:
If you haven’t used a prayer journal before, try it today. Write down this verse and one way God has provided for you recently—big or small. Then thank Him in writing. A journal can help you see His faithfulness more clearly over time.
Prayer:
Shepherd of my soul, I trust you to provide for me today. Thank you for your faithfulness in the past. Help me rely on you in every moment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
