Heart for the House Sample

"If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." - 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV

When we read this scripture, it reminds me of everything that God has done in my life, but especially since 2020. We now have 4 children under the age of five, and we have not once have we not had what we needed.

Things have been tight at times, but God in His infinite wisdom is also teaching me to pray earnestly and humble myself before Him in everything I do in life - from work, to knowing how much to give as an offering. So, pray and seek God in humility and God will provide the answers to your prayers.

Look into your life and see how much God has provided and how He has looked after you. Sometimes we fail to see it until after we have been through our tough circumstances, and then remember to thank and praise God for the provision in your life. But we can learn to thank Him in the journey as He is moving all the time.

Dear Lord as we seek You in wisdom and humility, please help us become more like You everyday and help us to rely on You for what we need. Amen.
