Lent | Week 5: What Jesus Did for YouSample

Jesus' Sacrifice is Final
When Jesus said, "It is finished," he was declaring that the work of salvation was complete. Everything needed for your redemption had already been done. There’s nothing more you can add or take away.
Jesus' sacrifice is final, and it is enough. This means you don’t have to keep striving or trying to earn God's approval through your actions. The work is finished, and Jesus has done it all.
But sometimes, we still try to do more, thinking we need to add to what Jesus has already done. Do you ever feel like you’re not doing enough or that God’s love depends on your performance? Take a moment today to embrace the sufficiency of Jesus' sacrifice. His work on the cross was enough. Nothing more is needed.
Pray: Jesus, thank you for completing the work of salvation on the cross. Help me to rest in the sufficiency of what you’ve done. Amen.
