A Word to the WiseSample

Not ALL is Vanity
What would you consider to be vanity?
Are you ever filled with the feeling that everything you pursue in life is vanity?
When King Solomon refers to all his vanity, he refers to material pursuits. (Alcohol, sex, money, etc.)
If your aim is not for your marriage to worship God, it’s vanity.
If your studies don’t worship God, it’s vanity.
If your work and labor don’t worship God, it’s vanity.
If you don’t come to church to glorify God, it’s vanity.
Glorifying God is not vanity.
Our prayer for you today is that the LORD will reveal in your life which pursuits are in vain and which pursuits glorify HIS HOLY name, and that you may have the courage to loosen yourself from materialistic pursuits and strive to glorify God in everything.
