Three Friends Worth Having
What are the most important characteristics you want your friends to have?
If you could ask God for anything, what would it be?
God is so wise that He placed everything where it should be. The sun still knows after all these years what it should do.
Many years before he wrote Proverbs, the LORD appeared to Solomon and asked what he wanted, and Solomon asked for wisdom.
The Book of Proverbs presents pointers for Godly living in short statements.
There are three friends worth having in this life, as described in Proverbs: wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
We can seek wisdom, but without knowledge and understanding, it brings destruction. We must treasure their friendship together and must strive to have all three in all areas of our lives.
This devotional will dive further into these three purposes of Proverbs.
Our prayer for you today is that you will earnestly seek wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and that you will journey with God in growing in these areas.
