They lived in Moab, and Ruth was from Moab. Ruth's husband died, and normally when a woman's husband died she would go back to her family. But Ruth loved her husband's mother, Naomi, very much and promised Naomi she would stay with her! Naomi moved back to Israel, and Ruth went too. Ruth took care of Naomi, and then Ruth married a man named Boaz who was very wealthy and took care of both Ruth and Naomi!
