God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Sample

Galatians – Day 1
Paul is one of the great heroes of the Christian faith. He traveled and preached the gospel, established and guided various churches, and wrote a large portion of the New Testament. Paul was imprisoned and ultimately martyred for his faith. His letters have made an immeasurable impact on the world, but Paul was not always a hero of the faith. Paul was once Saul.
Saul was a legalistic man filled with pride over his religious traditions. He hated Christianity. He writes that he persecuted the church violently and desired to see it destroyed. By all accounts, Saul was beyond hope. He is the last person anyone would have expected to accept Christ, but God did a mighty work in him.
Are there people in your life that you feel are lost causes? Commit to praying for their salvation. Never forget that every Saul can become a Paul!
