The majority of this chapter highlights conflicts and issues between believers.
Today as we read, I’d like us to reflect on conflicts in our own lives. How can we take a step back and realize that we don’t fight flesh and blood, but spiritual forces? This changes our perspective drastically to be able to move towards others in a new light.
We are a people that join in the process of bringing the new creation alongside Jesus. How can we do that now with our words and relationships?

About this Plan

The Epistle of James has so much to offer us as followers of Jesus today. It was originally written to Jewish Christians spread all over the ancient world. The message is straight to the point, practical, and challenging. Wherever we find ourselves following Jesus, this letter can help us realize how our spiritual and practical life should be one in the same.
