Practise – the way to keep growing

Father, thank you for your lavish love. May I increasingly trust your love, care, protection, and provision.

When we trust God for whatever comes our way, we are freer to suggest a different way of doing things (even when it upsets the ‘status quo’ in our workplace or family). When we accept that God loves us unconditionally, we no longer have anything to hide, lose or prove; we can begin to share our hope in Jesus wisely and sensitively. When we acknowledge that God is in control, we can see interruptions as invitations to minister to others rather than irritations, joining in with His priorities rather than our own. We love because God first loved us.
