Growing on the Frontline: A Prayer JourneySample

Practise – the way to keep growing
I ask for discernment to know when I conform to this world's pattern. Please transform me through the renewing of my mind.
Paul urges us as Christians to offer all of life to God. And then he tells us to be transformed by renewing our minds. He links the offering of ourselves with being transformed. The practices outlined in Growing on the Frontline help us in this transformation as we notice our choices, desires, and feelings.
Through practising the Examen prayer, Lectio Divina, or the PAUSE prayer, we learn to let go of our own agendas. We also learn to recognise and respond to God and the needs of the person in front of us. Practice helps these tools to become habitual ways of prayerful reflection.

About this Plan

This prayer journey is designed to help you grow closer to God and become more like Christ. To do this, we will reflect on the trials and triumphs you face each day – spotting opportunities to partner with God in bringing about His purposes, and overcoming our inner barriers to action by developing healthy habits and practices.
