The Power of Faith Sample

A BIGGER FRYING PAN
Two men go fishing. One is an experienced fisherman, while the other is an inexperienced fisherman. Whenever an experienced fisherman catches fish, he will put the fish in his icebox to keep the fish fresh. Whenever an inexperienced fisherman catches a big fish, he throws it back. The experienced fisherman watches his friend do the same thing all day and eventually gets tired of seeing how the man throws a good catch. "Why do you always throw away all the big fish you catch?" he asked.
The inexperienced fisherman replied, "Because I only have a small frying pan."
Whether it is a problem or a possibility, God never gives us anything greater than what we can handle - and that means that we can walk with confidence in whatever God has in store for us.
Today’s devotional:
Often like the fisherman, we throw back the big plans, big dreams, big jobs, or opportunities that God gave us. Our faith is too small. We laugh at the fisherman who doesn't know that all he needs is a bigger frying pan, but how many of us are ready to increase the size of our faith?
Faith expects from God what is beyond all expectation. (Andrew Murray)
