The Power of Faith Sample

THE OBJECT OF FAITH

Faith is a cheap commodity. Everyone has faith in something. Atheists have faith that there is no God and no place for eternal punishment in the future.

Animals have faith. They show their faith in their master, just as children show faith in their parents.

The sick also show great faith. They go to doctors that give them a prescription they couldn't read. They take that prescription to a pharmacist they have never met before. The pharmacist gives them some medicines they do not understand and cost a lot of money. They do all of these with genuine trust and faith.

But faith itself saves no one. It is the object of faith that saves us. That is why Jesus Christ must be the object of that saving faith.

What is the cornerstone of our faith today? Jesus Christ is enough of an answer for us! We need not doubt Him.
