He set up a clear boundary. Today many of us instead are programmed to gaze. We want to see more and click the link, choose movies with nudity and make up all sorts of excuses to feed the ever increasing appetite. We need to take the fight over our mind and guard our eyes. We can make fun of Solomon who in-spite of his wisdom and wealth ended his life in tragedy. With a thousand wives his addiction to power and sex was way out of hand and he simply took everything within his reach. Eventually it even destroyed his relationship with God, when he replaced the source of his blessing with other gods. I can’t help but think this is what porn does to crowds of men and - on an increasing level - women of our time. The Church is no exception. You are not alone in your struggle. Find the courage to open up to someone you can trust. Activate adult filter on your phone and ask a friend to set the password. Ask forgiveness, God never ceases to forgive.
