When the woman at the well encountered Jesus, it didn’t end there.  There was a response. You see, Jesus did things for her that she had never encountered in her entire life. He spoke to and acknowledged her past mistakes and failures, yet he still engaged her with love, offering healing from her past and hope for her future. That’s the incredible thing about this living water: it brings us life. But this living water is not meant to stop with us; it’s designed to flow through us. So many times we can encounter God in a fresh way, receiving an incredible word of encouragement or breakthrough in an area we’ve been praying for, and our response isn’t what God intended it to be. You see, we often stop the living water from flowing through us by not sharing what He’s done with the world around us who desperately needs a touch of heaven. There are many around us who are thirsty, who are facing hopelessness, and God is wanting you and I to respond to His presence by going and sharing hope with them. After learning that Jesus was the Messiah, we see the woman leaving her water jar, the very thing that she depended on for life, to go and tell her entire village to come and see Jesus. We see later that her response to this encounter with God led to revival in her village and many people got saved. So our question is this, who in your village (your co-workers, neighbors, friends, family) needs you to share what God is doing in your life? You never know who desperately needs your story.  Revival starts with you, so don’t hesitate. Respond to the Savior today by sharing the hope, love and healing that He has shared with you. Our prayer for you today is that you would go into your village with boldness and love to share all God has done in you. Don’t be afraid, God is with you every step of the way. Remember, revival starts with you.
