### NEVER GET ENOUGH > No, I can’t get enough of Your love, You’re the one I will pursue. > No, I can’t get enough of Your heart, everyday You make me new. Have you ever met someone you just loved spending time with? It could be a close friend or a romantic relationship but whoever it is, you just couldn’t spend enough time with them. And when you were together, the conversations just seemed to go on forever. Many of us have even had those times where we talked all night long to that special someone, not knowing where the time went. No matter how much time you spend together, you continue to pursue more time together. Sometimes you would even drop other things at the drop of a dime to spend more time with that person. That is how God pursues us. In fact, Matthew 18 gives us a glimpse at how God pursues us. He loves us and loves spending time with us so much that He, much like the shepherd in Matthew 18, would leave everything else behind to find us. He not only pursues us, but He invites us to pursue Him in the same way. The cool thing is, unlike some of our friends and loved ones that we pursue time with, God is always available! In fact, He can’t get enough of us. And the more we pursue and run after Him, there is always more of Himself He is ready to invest in us. But there is one thing that God asks of us when we come to Him: surrender. > Oh, what a beautiful surrender, losing myself I gain new life. > Jesus, my heart is yours forever, there is no greater love I’ll find. You see, God is actually jealous for us. He wants to be the one, the only one we want most. But so often we can get caught up pursuing so many other things in this life above Him. It doesn’t have to be bad things we’re pursuing either. It could be money, other relationships, physical health, or even perfect church attendance. You see, if we pursue anything more than we pursue God, it can actually become an idol in our lives, and that makes God jealous for us. But when we surrender, lay down our lives and the pursuit of anything else above God, and pursue Him with our whole heart, He is always there. He is always ready to pour out more love, more mercy, more grace and more of His goodness! What good news for us! Our prayer is that you would run after God with your whole heart! That you would make Him the focus of your daily pursuit with all that you have within you. When you do that you will not only find Him, you will find everything else you need in this life.
