Day 3 Read – Acts 3 Acts 3:12 "When Peter saw this, he addressed the people: 'Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this? Or why do you stare at us, as though we had made him walk by our own power or godliness?'" In today's chapter, Peter and John heal a lame man and the Hebrew there stare in amazement that they healed him. As such Peter responds to them in the verse shown above. Peter then goes on to tell them that their power comes from Jesus, not from themselves and that this is the same Jesus that they just put to death and was raised from the dead by God. Is this the way that you respond when God works in your life? Are you astonished that it happened, or are you expecting Him to work, so that when He does, you are ready to give him the glory? If we have experienced God's power in our lives, we should be ready for God to move and work wonders in our life. We should be expecting it to happen so that we can react the right way to God's movement and follow Him wherever He is leading. Lord, help us to know you well enough that when you move in our lives we are ready and will follow you wholeheartedly.
