DAY 7 OF 7

Aiming to live a God-honoring life amongst those who intentionally live contrary to God's word will produce some form of opposition.  Opposition is not always expressed as a full-blown screaming match between parties, but opposition could be expressed as one purposefully electing to disregard authority, disrespect others and disaffirm agreements. Not everyone is committed to serving as a God-honoring leader. Serving as an edunacious educator involves making intentional decisions that could possibly invoke opposition. Many individuals cower out of doing the right thing because it appears that when one goes against the grain of cultural norms and regressive professional practices many uncomfortable and challenging risks are associated with it. Although opposition can temporarily be uncomfortable, doing the right thing before God is vital.  As an educator there are many opportunities for one to make a life-changing decision that will directly or indirectly impact their students. But no matter the decision the number one aim in decision making should be to please God in doing what is right. Doing the right thing requires resistance against wrong mindsets and choices. Doing the right thing requires one to live a life of God-honoring resilience even in the midst of challenging circumstances. Aim to seek God's approval at all times and cast your cares on Him even in the face of opposition, criticism and mocking. Educators remember to aim towards the target of God-honoring success even when others can't tangibly measure your personal sacrifice, resilience and faith. God-honoring leadership as an educator is a continuous fundamental key that must be exemplified whilst opposition, set backs and trials appear. Educators be encouraged today, don’t fear man or opposition. Aim to continuously walk with God and follow Him.
