## THE PROBLEM God created us in His image with a desire for purpose and significance. Problems often arise, however, in how we get those needs met. In the video, Matt calls the rough times we go through due to our own sin “Loserville”. He suggests we’ve all been in Loserville through our own choices. In Jeremiah 29:11-13, the Hebrew people are in Loserville, without much hope. God says to them: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (NIV) ### Let's reflect... God is reminding them of some important things to get them out of Loserville. Consider the below questions, and write down some thoughts in this devotional or in your journal: What is God reminding them of? Why do they need to be reminded? When was a time that YOU needed to be reminded of the truth?
