Throughout the history of the Church, Christians have found the Psalms to be a helpful guide to prayer. As you read Psalm 7 today, ask that God would direct you to a line, phrase, or thought that can be a springboard for your own personal prayers. For instance, you may choose verse 1, which reads, "Lord my God, I take refuge in you; save and deliver me from all who pursue me." To turn this into a guide for prayer, you may pray something like, "Lord, I take refuge in you; I need your help right now in my… (work, marriage, addiction, pain, friendship, family)."
