Praying From Paul's Lettersনমুনা

We Are a People for God’s Own Possession
"Our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:13–14, ESV)
Prayer
Father God, as we await our blessed hope, the return of Jesus Christ our Lord, may we live in a way that exudes the fragrance of heaven, that demonstrates for a watching world what it means to be a member of God’s family.
What a precious gift to be God’s possession! We are loved by God in Jesus Christ, and so we love You in return. Help us to live like we love YOU!
Give us grace toward others as we remember we were once lost, disobedient, and rebellious toward You. By your grace, O Lord, our Savior came. Not because we are so good, but because You are so good. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for washing us, regenerating us, remaking us into the image of Christ. We are heirs of His kingdom, heaven-bound heirs, joyfully treasuring each day with the hope of life everlasting in Christ. May our hope and joy spring eternal! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
