In Hebrews ten, we once again read about the New Covenant in Jesus Christ! The New Covenant is an effective, once and for all sacrifice. It is superior and makes all sacrifices we could possibly bring ineffective. It then encourages us to be confident in our faith and stand strong in the face of adversity. Today's verse does two things: Firstly, it reminds us that we can enter the most holy place through Jesus’ sacrifice. It was His sacrifice that tore the veil and made the most holy place accessible for you and me. And secondly, it encourages us to draw near to God, to seek His presence. It affirms our worthiness to stand before God and it assures us that faith in Christ and what He has done is what makes us pure. Just like verse twenty-two, I want to encourage you to draw near to God. Take time to seek His presence and stand strong in faith wherever you might go today!
