Notice what happens when we genuinely believe that the battle is not ours, but the Lord's. Fear leaves. Discouragement leaves. And even in the face of overwhelming odds against us, we win! The secret to a fear-free life is to know that God has fought and is fighting for you. We don't live in our strength, but God's. How many times have you felt discouraged when you looked at what you were facing? Next time you feel that way, declare at that moment: the battle is the Lord's, and He wins every battle He is in!
