111

1Praise the Lord!

I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, # Ps 138:1; 149:1

in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2Great are the works of the Lord, # Ps 104:24; 143:5

studied by all who have pleasure in them.

3Honorable and majestic is His work,

and His righteousness endures forever. # Ps 119:142

4He has made His wonderful works to be remembered;

the Lord is gracious and compassionate. # Ps 86:5; 103:8

5He has given food to those who fear Him;

He will ever be mindful of His covenant. # Ps 105:8

6He has shown His people the power of His works,

in giving them the inheritance of the nations.

7The works of His hands are truth and justice;

all His precepts are trustworthy. # Ps 19:7

8They stand forever and ever, # Ps 19:9; Mt 5:18

and are performed in truth and uprightness.

9He has sent redemption to His people;

He has commanded His covenant forever;

holy and awesome is His name. # Ps 99:3; Lk 1:49

10The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; # Pr 1:7; 9:10

a good understanding have all those who do His commands. # Pr 3:4

His praise endures forever!
