A Psalm of David.
1The Lord said to my lord,
“Sit at My right hand, # Heb 1:3
until I make your enemies
your footstool.” # 1Co 15:25
2The Lord will send your mighty scepter out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of your enemies!
3Your people will follow you
in the day of your battle;
on the holy mountains, # Ps 96:9
at the dawn of the morning,
the dew of your youth belongs to you.
4The Lord has sworn
and will not change His mind, # Nu 23:19
“You are a priest forever
according to the order of Melchizedek.” # Heb 5:6
5The Lord is at your right hand; # Ps 16:8
He will execute kings in the day of His wrath. # Ro 2:5
6He will judge among the nations; # Isa 2:4 He will fill them with dead bodies;
He will execute the heads over many countries. # Ps 68:21
7He will drink from the brook by the wayside; # Jdg 7:5–6
therefore He will lift up His head. # Ps 27:6
