Uncharted: Ruach, Spirit of Godናሙና

"But his bow remained steady, his strong arms stayed limber, because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel" Genesis 49:24 (NIV)
It is God who keeps our 'bow steady' and our 'arms limber'. It's not our strength or skill that holds us steady. God wants us to rely on Him. We can forget to turn to Him, acting independently, but He designed us to walk with Him. He promises to be with us, to equip us as we walk in faith.
Doing life without God is like going camping and relying on battery power; it only lasts for so long. Then, it runs out, and you’re cold, in the dark with uncooked sausages. You've forgotten that you packed a generator. Plug in and camping becomes 'glamping'. Every day life is better, more fruitful when we ‘plug into’ God’s strength, His power.
What areas are you fighting in your own strength, where do you need to rely more on God?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You provide everything I need, teach me to be more reliant on You. Amen.
