Sometimes life seems big and chaotic and out of our control. Joseph understood that feeling. He married a girl who was pregnant. Once the baby was born, they received uninvited congratulations from smelly shepherds and mysterious foreigners. Then God showed up in Joseph’s dreams to tell him to move the family to Egypt to protect Jesus from Herod’s madness. Talk about chaos! But Joseph trusted God’s plan for his Son and moved.
We can also trust God’s plan for us. He may not eliminate the hard parts or the craziness, but his plan includes a Savior who came to pay our price and conquer death.
