When Jesus cast the legion of demons out of the man who lived in the tombs, the people of the town were astonished and terrified by Jesus’s power. They were also pretty irritated to lose a large herd of pigs.
But the healed man felt very differently. Can you imagine the sound of thousands of evil voices in your head? He had been so tormented by the demons that he cut himself on the rocks. Naturally, after he was freed from the torture, he wanted to be by Jesus' side. Instead, God used this man and his story to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
