The Temptationsናሙና

When we feel left alone to look out for ourselves or when we feel weak and vulnerable, there is no feeling more welcome than someone coming to our rescue; someone to lend us their strength and cover us with protection. God comes to our rescue in this way! Sometimes it could be through God’s Spirit comforting us when we feel truly alone. Sometimes it can be in the form of a friend who always has your back, a parent who pays for something we can’t afford, or a leader who encourages us in a way that reminds us that we’re not alone. When God helps us by using the people around us, our reasonable response is joyful thanksgiving.

This week, thank someone who has been an example of God’s strength and help during a difficult time in your life.
