Jesus loves us so much, and He desires a relationship with us. Relationships are meant to be ongoing and full of two-way communication. Jesus is unrelenting in His desire to make us better because He wants us to produce more healthy fruit. Where religion tells us that we have arrived at a position of power, our RELATIONSHIP with Jesus is constant communication about where we are and where we are going. The Holy Spirit will continue to point out areas of our lives that are not in alignment with His plan for us, and He will continually keep trying to help us bear better fruit. Relationships often reflect back to us the areas where we need to let the Holy Spirit do a little more work in our hearts. Questions: What area of your life is bearing no fruit right now? Put it before God this week and ask Him to speak life into that area.
