“Holy Worship” How can an unholy person give holy worship? It’s impossible! However, you are holy if you have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Because of what Jesus did on the cross, you have been made holy! You are no longer unholy-, that was the old, but the new has come! Understanding that we have been made holy will help us live a holy life and offer to God holy worship. Our worship should be set apart. It should not be conformed to the patterns of this world. Worship is to be done in Spirit and in Truth. Many times we tend to imitate the world in our corporate worship and our lifestyle. What kind of offering are we giving if it is a copy of what the world does? We must be careful not to get caught in the old way of life once we have been made new. Let’s ask ourselves a tough question in regards to the offerings we are giving unto the Lord. Are the offerings we are giving set apart and especially for the Lord, or is it the “leftover” of which it has not much value to you? Think about it: What will you do different as you keep in mind and understand that you are holy?
