Romans 6:5

Nadat jy jou hart en lewe aan Jesus gegee het, is die doop een van jou belangrikste volgende stappe. Dit is ’n uiterlike teken van die groot innerlike verandering wat God reeds in jou lewe begin het. Wanneer jy gedoop word, volg jy Jesus se voorbeeld, reageer jy in gehoorsaamheid op sy opdrag en verklaar jy openlik: “Ek behoort aan Jesus. My ou lewe is verby. Ek leef nou vir Hom.”

The strength of a building lies in its foundation. In the natural sense, the main purpose of the foundation is to hold the structure above it and keep it upright. This definition of the purpose of the foundation applies even more to our spiritual lives.
