Day 3 - Processing with God Life happens, am I right? Sometimes we don’t want it to but it does. Sometimes we hope situations would go differently. It isn't always bad because sometimes it goes great too! Either way, we have to learn to process the process. In Romans, Paul talks about how God works all things for our good and God’s glory. He doesn’t waste anything. Sometimes He tests us intentionally but perhaps more to reveal to us, not Him, where we are. He is so faithful that He shows us things so that we can grow, moving from glory to glory, being perfected in His likeness. If, however, we don't process and discuss and hash out our thoughts and feelings on what is happening, we miss out on so much of the gift of the season. If we never have a conversation with God about it, how can we possibly know what His heart is in the midst of the circumstance? This goes for both easy and difficult situations. There have been so many times in my life that I thought were difficult and painful but through processing with God, He showed me the gifts He had for me and it radically changed my perspective. Today, take a moment to scan your life right now. What is going on in your life that you can process with God? Are there places that you are avoiding processing with God?
