Storm Watch预览

No one has been promised a life free from pain or worry. In all honesty, as we read Scripture, we find that the exact opposite is true. As followers of Christ, we’re reminded again and again that we are living in a world full of pain and challenge. We will all encounter difficult circumstances, unavoidable grief, and inevitable suffering. Take a minute to read this Scripture again. What is your “darkest valley”? Is it a situation you’re currently facing, or could it be something you see happening on the horizon? Have you just come out of your valley only to find yourself too terrified to move forward, afraid that the future only holds valleys for you?
Take heart, and know that you are never, and were never, in those valleys on your own. Even in our darkest hours, we are still surrounded and protected by the never-ending love of God. There will never be a valley too big, too wide, or overwhelming enough to keep us away from our Savior. It’s not only a nice thought. It’s a promise that we’ve been given. If you think back to the time in your “valleys,” can you see glimpses of God being there with you? How can you remind yourself of God’s promise and presence when you feel a storm heading your way?
圣经
读经计划介绍

We all experience storms—not just physical storms but also storms due to personal circumstances. Our lives are suddenly hit with waves of scary decisions or are rocked by situations completely out of our control. We’ll discover what it looks like when God uses storms to get our attention, to help us see how God can use the storms of life in unexpected ways, and also remind ourselves and each other that, even in the eye of a terrible storm, we are never alone.
