Have you ever been in an argument before and had the thought, “this is dumb?” This is such a small and silly fight! In this letter to the church in Rome, Paul says it can be really easy to get caught up in the small stuff, the details—things that distract us from the things that matter. Paul wanted the Christians in Rome to know that the Kingdom of God is bigger than the small things that make up our day. There’s more to it than that! Is there an area where you have gotten caught up in the small stuff and missed the bigger picture of the Kingdom of God? How can you live “a life of goodness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit?”
