Have you ever looked at an old picture of yourself and thought, “I don’t even know who that person is anymore!” Maybe it reminds you of a difficult time in your life, or maybe you’ve changed a lot from who that person was. The more we live in line with the Holy Spirit’s work in our life and resemble Jesus, the more the old “picture” of ourselves will go away. We will become more of who we were always meant to be, who we were designed to be as this new creation. This is God's life for you—full and new, exactly as you are. Spend some time thinking about how you have become a “new creation” in Jesus. What has changed in your life as you have followed Jesus?
