Many churches have buildings that are hundreds and hundreds of years old. There is a church building in Bethlehem called Church of the Nativity, and it began construction in the year 325AD. This church is still under construction as it’s being reconstructed. The Church is more than just one building with a cross on the top. The Church is growing worldwide and is still under construction because God has not finished building it yet!

We are all builders of God’s house. We build the Church using the gifts God has given us. We each have a part to play.

The Bible describes the Church as a body, with each part of your body saying to another, “I want to be like you!” But God made us unique for a reason! What use would it be if all parts wanted to be eyes or toes?

We play our part in building the Church when we serve one another with our gifts and talents. I believe the Church is God’s plan.
