God and His Word预览

After the Old Testament comes the New Testament, which includes The Gospels, written by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, that tell all about Jesus’ life and teaching. John even tells us why he wrote the Gospel of John so that we may believe in Jesus!

Much of the New Testament is letters written by the Apostle Paul to the earliest Christian churches and his helpers Timothy and Titus. As the Good News of Jesus spread worldwide and the church grew, these letters were vital in teaching and instructing believers to follow Jesus, honour God and live in community with one another.

We have all these writings gathered in one book. The Bible came into existence by God's hand, breath, and voice. The Bible is so special to us; reading it and spending time with God is exciting. We can learn something new and wonderful about our amazing God every time we open this book.

Think about where the Bible started, stone tablets and scrolls; now we can have God’s Word on a phone or a different kind of tablet than Moses, a digital one! There has never been a time in history when God’s Word was so easily accessible. It’s the most important book in the whole world. Truth is right here at our fingertips. God’s Word for you! I believe God’s Word is true. I believe God’s Word is true.
