“As a penalty for the sin they have committed, they must bring to the Lord a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for them for their sin.” (Leviticus 5:6 NIV)

THINK ABOUT THIS: 

According to the law, if someone has sinned and was proven guilty before God, they must bring an offering to atone for their sin. But what is more important and must be done first by that person?

Compare this with the story in Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve fell into sin and God went looking for them.
