The book of EXODUS ends with the completion of the Tabernacle, which is also called the Tent of Meeting where God met with His people. The holy and infallible God wanted to have a relationship with His sinful people. 

The book of LEVITICUS begins with God giving orders about burnt offerings, the purpose of which was to restore the relationship between man and God.

Since the beginning, our God has been the God who longs to meet us. He has prepared the place and the way so that we could meet and have a relationship with Him.
