Connect With God Through Movement | 7-Day DevotionalÀpẹrẹ

Movement as an Act of Obedience
In the book of Numbers, God told Moses to speak to a rock so water would flow from it. Instead, Moses struck it with his staff. Because of his disobedience, Moses was not allowed to lead the people into the Promised Land. Instead, that role was given to Joshua. When Joshua led the Israelites to the Jordan River, he instructed the people to consecrate themselves and move out of their positions when they saw the Ark of the Covenant being carried ahead of them. The Israelites obeyed, and God dried up the waters of the Jordan River so they could cross over into the Promised Land.
In the same way, when you move according to how God is leading you, your obedience creates space for His miracles in your life. God has done a mighty work in you since you’ve chosen to follow Him. Now is not the time to shrink back — it is time to press in with everything you have and move in the direction He is asking of you.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for all that You have invited me into. You remove the obstacles in my way. You love me so much, and You continuously make a way for me to move forward. I will not partner with fear, and I will not shrink back. Instead, I will have faith and cross over into Your promises for me. Amen.
Activation
Ask God, “What are Your promises for me?” Write down what you hear and ask God how to faithfully steward these promises in obedience.
What movement is required to step into these promises?

There is only one way to God, and it's through Jesus, but in Jesus, there are many ways to connect with God. One way you can connect with God is through Movement. Movement is when you encounter God as you move your body physically through exercise, dance, walking, or any form of movement. Through this 7-day devotional, our goal is that you would walk away understanding the heart of moving with God and be equipped with the tools to connect with Him in this way.
