Back to the Basics 365Намуна

There is a place for admonishment in our relationships. 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15, and 1 Corinthians 5:11-13, tell us to “have no company” with a Christian who refuses to obey the Word of God. It tells us to “admonish him as a brother”; however, we are not to count that person as an enemy.
Our purpose is to try to bring that person to a place of repentance and turning back to God. The admonishment is so “that he may be ashamed”, and turn away from their wrongdoings. We do not go along with the wrong, but we should pray for them, admonish in love, and encourage them to get right with God!
