Because of the Cross

But he was pierced for our transgressions,

he was crushed for our iniquities;

the punishment that brought us peace was on him,

and by his wounds we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5

Father God, thank You for this new day to experience Your love, grace, and mercy. Thank You for salvation and for Your precious Son Jesus Christ! Because He was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities, and because He took our punishment to bring us peace, believers everywhere can declare, “By His stripes we are healed!”

Thank You, Jesus, for enduring the pain of the cross to heal our souls and redeem us from sin, death, and every power of the enemy. I bow to You today in worship and praise Your holy name! Because of the cross, we are redeemed, victorious, more than conquerors, chosen, and purposed to do good things that were prepared beforehand by God. Because of the cross, we have internal peace and eternal salvation. Because of the cross, we are free, righteous, and children of the Most High God, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Thank You, Jesus, for enduring the cross. Amen.
