Standing on the Promise

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. - Hebrews 11:8

Faithful Father, You are brilliant and strategic, and Your plans for us are good! This is why I confess my faith in You today. Like Abraham, I will be obedient to Your voice and have faith in You that You will accomplish every promise. I don't need to have all the answers, for I walk by faith and not sight.

Your Word reminds me of Abraham and Sarah’s faith. They were past childbearing age and were enabled to bear children because they considered Him faithful who had made the promise. You have made promises to me. You promised me an abundant life, health, wholeness, a close relationship with You, and provision for my family. Today, I remind You of each promise that You’ve given me. Even the promise of (confess the promise that God has made to you, personally), and I will stand on Your Word because You are faithful.

Thank You for giving us examples like Abraham, Sarah, and so many others. I will not waiver. Instead, I will trust in You, the promise keeper. In Jesus’ name, amen!
