16 Characteristics of the God-Kind of Love - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8Намуна

Day 4 – Love does not parade itself
What does it mean to parade oneself? It means to live boastfully of who you are. Such people usually think they know too much to humble themselves to receive from others. And what’s interesting about this is that some people can go as far as lying about things they don’t have to persuade people to follow them, only to later be disgraced.
Genuine love, expressed in godliness, never parades itself. It teaches people to remain humble, regardless of their knowledge or possessions. And to be honest, people with this quality are very awesome coworkers in a team. They can present an idea so nicely and never be forceful, although when implemented, it can help the whole organisation.
Do you always think so highly of yourself that you tend not to listen to others? If so, I guess it’s time to analyze your life and let God’s love be perfected in your life. We live in a heavily populated world. What you think you have that is making you behave proudly is just a small part of what God intends for you to gain in the future. God always lifts the humble, so remain humble under His mighty hand and improve.
You’re a blessing.
About this Plan

In the Bible, several scriptures illustrate how God demonstrates His love. One of such popular scriptures is 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. In those five verses, Apostle Paul enumerates sixteen different characteristics of God’s love, of which we are supposed to emulate each one by grace. In this plan, you will learn about each one and how to apply them to your life for a victorious Christian living.
